Set up Drogon Tv on your Smart TV
- Install the app. Open your TV's app store, search for the app from the table above, then download and install it.
- Add your playlist. Open the app's settings and enter your M3U playlist link, or log in with the Xtream Codes details (server URL, username, password) from your welcome message.
- Add the TV guide. Enter your EPG link in the app settings to switch on the programme guide.
- Restart and watch. Restart the app; your channels load from the playlist.
Some Smart TV apps, such as Smart IPTV, ask you to upload the playlist on their website using the TV's MAC address. Follow the app's on-screen instructions and keep your MAC address private.
Samsung TVs
Open the Samsung app store from the Apps button, search for Smart IPTV and install it. When you open it, the app shows your TV's MAC address. Use that address on the app's website to upload your M3U link, then restart the app on the TV and the channel list appears.
LG TVs
Open the LG Content Store and install IPTV Smarters or SS IPTV. In IPTV Smarters choose the Xtream Codes login and enter the details from your welcome message; in SS IPTV add your M3U link as an external playlist. Add the EPG link in the settings of either app.
Android TV and Google TV
Sony, Philips, TCL and many other brands run Android TV or Google TV, which gives you the full Google Play store. Install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro and follow the same steps as on a Fire TV. These sets usually give the smoothest experience of all Smart TVs.
Get the best picture
- Connect the TV with an Ethernet cable if you can; built-in TV Wi-Fi is often weaker than a phone's.
- 4K channels need around 30 Mbps or more on the TV itself.
- Keep the app updated and restart it after adding the playlist.

MAG boxes and Enigma2 receivers
The service also works on set-top boxes. On a MAG box, go to Settings, System Settings, Servers, enter the portal URL from your welcome message (including http://), save and restart. On Enigma2 receivers such as Dreambox and VU+, open the receiver's web interface, upload your M3U playlist, convert it to a bouquet and reload the services. Smart TV app or streaming box?
Watching Drogon Tv directly on the TV is the simplest setup: no extra remote, no extra power socket.
